The experience in Zagreb has brought in contact many people coming from different parts of the world and the magic that comes from the exchange of ideas in such a context it’s indescribable.
We only spent there a few days, but during that time we worked on various activities linked to the storytelling workshop as well as to getting to know each other better. This is an excerpt from a video I realised in a group activity, in which we interviewed other participants asking them the same question: “What have you taken with you from the Volpower Event?”
I decided to show this video, because that’s essentially what I have brought home from the experience: it’s other people’s points of view, it’s their opinions, it’s the acceptance of the other, it’s sharing information — it’s the awareness that not everyone sees the world just like you do, but at the same time there’s always something you have in common, that brings you together.
